Description
Predator Quad Bodyboard Hexaflex K1.9
The Predator Quad is built for riders who want increased drive, stronger hold and precise control without sacrificing speed or manoeuvrability.
Designed as an all-purpose performance board, the Predator combines the Hexaflex Structural System, a 1.9 PP Core, Crescent Tail, 60/40 Rails and Quad Channels. This setup creates a fast, responsive and controlled ride across a wide range of wave conditions, from clean open faces to steep, hollow and powerful surf.
The Predator performance shape provides a balanced combination of speed, stability and agility. Its outline allows the board to accelerate efficiently through the line while remaining responsive when the rider needs to change direction, set a rail or react quickly inside a critical section.
At the heart of the board is the Hexaflex Structural System. Hexaflex is the internal skeleton that replaces the traditional stringer. Built into the core, its hexagonal structure controls flex, improves recoil, distributes impact and gives the board its distinctive reactive feel.
Instead of depending on a rigid central stringer, the Hexaflex Structural System allows the board to flex in a more controlled and progressive way. When pressure is applied through the rider’s hands, elbows and body position, the internal structure helps distribute those forces across the board. As the pressure is released, the structure quickly returns to its original form, helping generate projection and maintaining a responsive feeling under the rider.
The 1.9 PP Core provides a lightweight, responsive and durable platform suited to a broad range of water temperatures and riding conditions. Combined with Hexaflex, it gives the Predator Quad the necessary stiffness for speed and projection while preserving controlled flex and immediate response.
The Crescent Tail provides dependable hold and stability while maintaining a clean release through turns and manoeuvres. Its familiar and versatile geometry makes the Predator Quad predictable under pressure, allowing the rider to maintain control through fast lines, steep sections and technical transitions.
The 60/40 Rails offer a strong and reliable connection with the wave face. This rail configuration provides grip when setting a line while maintaining enough release for smooth transitions and quick changes of direction. The result is a balanced rail response suited to both controlled carving and more progressive riding.
The Quad Channels increase water-flow control through the tail section, creating additional drive, hold and directional stability. The four-channel configuration helps the board maintain speed through powerful sections while improving grip when the rider applies pressure through the rail.
Together, the Crescent Tail, 60/40 Rails and Quad Channels give the Predator Quad a planted and confident feel without making the board difficult to release or redirect. This combination makes it a highly versatile option for riders who want one board capable of performing across different wave types and conditions.
Mesh Reinforcement adds structural support and helps preserve projection through repeated use, while the Surlyn Slick provides speed, durability and efficient water release.
IDEAL CONDITIONS
The Predator Quad performs across a wide range of conditions, from clean everyday waves to steep, hollow and powerful surf. It is particularly effective when additional drive, hold and control are required.
IDEAL RIDER
Intermediate to advanced riders looking for a versatile performance board with speed, grip, projection and reliable control.
The Predator Quad is built to accelerate, hold its line and respond immediately when the wave becomes more technical.
More drive. More hold. Predator control.
