The Joshua Garner Comet Pro Model Bodyboard was developed alongside Joshua Garner from concept to completion, with every detail tested, refined and validated to meet the demands of heavy, fast and progressive surf. This is not just a signature graphic on an existing shape. It is a performance bodyboard built around Joshua’s riding style, combining speed, control, projection and fast response in critical conditions.At the core of the board is Hexaflex K1.9 technology, Hexaboards’ internal structural system designed to replace the traditional stringer concept with a more advanced flex pattern. Instead of relying on a single central stringer, Hexaflex works through an internal hexagonal structure that helps control flex, store energy and deliver rapid recoil through turns, landings and high-speed sections.This setup gives the Comet Pro Model a unique balance between stiffness and responsiveness. The board remains fast and solid under pressure, while still allowing controlled flex when the rider loads the rail or compresses through the wave. The result is a bodyboard that feels alive under the rider, with strong projection out of turns and a fast return to its natural shape.The Comet Tail geometry was developed to offer a different release point compared with traditional tail setups. It helps the board hold speed while improving control during direction changes, transitions and landings. Combined with the overall template, the Comet Tail gives the board a progressive feel without losing stability in powerful waves.The Vortex Channels are designed to improve water flow through the slick, helping the board generate drive and maintain control at high speed. This channel setup works with the tail and rail configuration to give the rider a more connected feeling through bottom turns, trims and high-pressure sections. It is built for riders who want speed, but also need the board to remain predictable when the wave becomes critical.The 60/40 Concave Rails give the Comet Pro Model strong edge control while keeping enough forgiveness for fast transitions. This rail setup is ideal for riders who want grip and precision, especially in hollow or powerful waves where control through the line is essential. The elevated thumb deck contours also improve hand placement and board feel, giving the rider better connection during take-offs, spins, rolls and aerial manoeuvres.

Built with a PP K1.9 Core, Mesh and Surlyn Slick, this board is designed for high-performance bodyboarding. The PP K1.9 core provides a lightweight and responsive platform, while the mesh layer adds strength and projection. The Surlyn slick delivers speed, durability and a clean release across the water.
